Hi, I’m Dr. Megan Frazier
I am a licensed psychologist practicing in the states of California, Colorado and Washington, and have dedicated my practice to healing others. I am particularly passionate about helping those with disordered eating and relational trauma, specifically individuals who have experienced abuse and need support in breaking out of the cycle.
I believe that creating a safe, non-judgmental space is a necessary foundation for building a strong therapeutic relationship. It is my goal to make you feel validated and supported as you learn to navigate difficult emotions and make meaning of your experience.
Clinically, I individualize treatment for each and every client, while using evidence-based approaches of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to target unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you stuck. For trauma, I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for PTSD. For adolescents with eating disorders, I also use Maudsley/Family Based Treatment (FBT).
My therapeutic orientation is rooted in psychodynamic theory as well, so I also take an integrative approach when conceptualizing one’s history and symptoms. It’s most helpful to discover where your beliefs & patterns came from, and then you can decide if they are still serving you.
